What Does A File I/o Error Mean
I can not save with out getting the File I/O error message. One person suggested that this file may be corrupted since I've been bouncing back and forth between 2 different Illustrator programs. I use CS-4 at work, save as CS-3 format then continue working on it at home. I tried copying each layer to a new fresh doc. but still get the error a file i/o error has occurred vmware converter code. Is there a way to fix this file? Both back-up files I have behave the same way. I have the same question Show 0 Likes(0) 23324Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 3 replies 1. Re: File I/O Error Message Mylenium Apr 25, 2013 12:11 PM (in response to Techo Geek) Nobody can tell you anything. You are not even telling us the exact wording of thne error message, much less offering any system info or details about what is involved in your files. Much too vague and imprecise on all accounts...Mylenium Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. Re: File I/O Error Message Techo Geek Apr 25, 2013 1:15 PM (in response to Mylenium) Thanks for your response. I usually save the file to a flash drive so that I can take it home. Please let

It extends these classes with methods that are specific to file handles. CONSTRUCTOR new ( FILENAME [,MODE [,PERMS]] ) Creates an IO::File . If it receives any parameters, they are passed to the method open; if the open fails, the object is destroyed. Otherwise, it is returned to the caller. new_tmpfile Creates an IO::File opened for read/write on a newly created temporary file. On systems where this is possible, the temporary file is anonymous (i.e. it is unlinked after creation, but held open). You could use import java.io.*; I typically use single-type imports. share|improve this answer edited Aug 21 '14 at 11:58 Durai Amuthan.H 12.8k266127 answered May 13 '11 at 19:46 Jon Skeet 901k48765377463 add a comment| up vote 3 down vote You need to include either import java.io.File; or import java.io.*; at the top of your source file. share|improve this answer answered May 13 '11 at 19:46 Ernest Friedman-Hill 63.7k793143 Jon Skeet beat me by 12 seconds. The Command class may be local to your application, and the System class is automatically imported, like everything else in the java.lang package. –Ernest Friedman-Hill May 13 '11 at 19:49 These I imported, but when I forgot to do that, I got a notifaction suggesting me ti import them, unlike this one. –Unknown user May 13 '11 at 19:51 @

I need to save objects from a script that works during runtime. I use this alot to record custom data, including splat maps and lists of data to be reread at runtime for level generation etc. System.IO.File.WriteAllBytes(pAddress, vImg); I get this error on web player platform, which prevents compiling. System.IO.File' does not contain a definition for WriteAllBytes' It doesn't need to be able to save from the web payer (I'd do that with php if I ever needed to), but commenting and uncommenting this out everywhere and switching platforms for an edit is a pain in the neck. I've tried wrapping #if UNITY_EDITOR style compile directives round it, but to no effect. Does ayone know an alternative method, which prevents this problem? Or how to tell the Unity Editor "I know I can't save local files, just don't give me the error" or "Just don't read this line when you know you're publishing to Web".
