Fix Error 0xc0000185
2014 22:41:26 I am very sorry but since this thread relates to a lot of things I put it in the Memory
I/o Error Status Of 0xc000009c
section because I thought it related the most. Anyways about a day ago while on my computer my mouse fell off the stand thing and landed on top of my computer, everything completely froze and my headphones made
I/o Error Status 185
a wierd buzzing sound that wouldnt stop. I couldnt move my mouse or anything so I decided to turn it off. When I attempted to reboot, it made a series of beeps in the pattern of 1-3-3-1 and wouldnt boot up. After reseating a few things such as 1 of the sticks of RAM, the GPU, and the HDD it finally booted up and loaded windows! I was overly happy as I thought my problem i/o error status of 0xc000000e was solved however when I logged in nothing really responded and the only things I could really get into, although slowly, was the start menu. Any other thing I click on usually freezes the computer and loads an error message saying something like this usually: "The instruction at 0x000007FEFD890199 memory at 0x000007FEFD890199 the required data was not placed into memory because of an I/O error status of 0xc0000185." I read somewhere that this could be because of RAM or the Hard drive, but I honestly have no idea. Everything seems to work fine in safe mode, I even ran a Memory Diagnostics test from the control panel and no problems were found. Your help would be so much appreciated. In case anyone was wondering here are my specs: (Its pretty much just a Lenovo thinkcentre m58p sff with an added r7 240 in the pcie x16 slot) Intel Core 2 Duo e8400 XFX Radeon r7 240 4gb of ddr3 RAM 150 gb HDD 280 Watt Power supply. Once again I just wanna thank everyone whos willing to help me with my problem More about : computer boots wont load displays error status Deus Gladiorum 3 August 2014 23:02:23 I'll bet it's a hard drive issue. It could be RAM related, but considering that HDDs are the only remaining mechanical parts of computers as

Error Message: STOP: 0xC0000185 Translation: This means Windows can’t communicate with a SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) device, such as a CD-ROM drive. SCSI is a standard for parallel interfaces that lets users attach several devices to one port. The message can also mean the SCSI device is trying to use the same IRQ (Interrupt Request) line as another device. An IRQ line carries signals in the computer. Solution: Open the computer’s case and check if the SCSI card the device is connected to is properly connected to the motherboard. You should only do this, however, if you’re familiar and comfortable with working on the inside of your system. If doing this doesn’t solve the problem, check for IRQ conflicts using the System Information tool. In WinNT, click t
