not just one file and I am starting to run out of ideas on how to troubleshoot this... I cannot use diag to test this disk as it's not an IBM disk (I assume that's why it's not in the list for diag!!) but the array controller interface shows the RAID status as "HEALTHY" and there are no errors in the logs on the disk array.
