Event viewer shows the following entry: Event ID 1000 Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.8326.0, stamp 4c1c2372, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.6055, stamp 4d00f27d, debug? 0, fault address 0x00019af2. So far I have gone into msconfig and disabled the startup group. I've also disabled http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_outlook-mso_other/outlook-shutsdown-as-soon-as-it-starts-with-error/92a0ac92-9a2a-4ccb-9486-668b2acbb7da MalwareBytes Pro. Would like to know if anybody has been having the same problem. #2 03-18-2012, 06:06 PM Jimmy_dean0 Windows 7 64bit Office 2007 Novice Join Date: Mar 2012 Posts: 1 RESOLVED: I had a similar issue recently. To resolve it I created a new Outlook profile (Control Panel - Mail), and created a new e-mail account using http://www.msofficeforums.com/outlook/10286-outlook-2003-event-id-1000-a.html the old settings. Then I imported items one at a time, letting Outlook sit for a few minutes after each import - e.g. Import the Inbox only, shut down and restart Outlook, and let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes. Everything went well until I got to the Calendar. Within 60 seconds of importing the calendar, Outlook started crashing again. Luckily I had a duplicate calendar in Outlook on my laptop, and it was not crashing. So I deleted the new profile and started importing everything again, except the calendar, which I imported from the laptop. Everything has been working perfectly since then. Hope this helps. « Previous Thread | Next Thread » Thread Tools Show Printable Version Display Modes Linear Mode Switch to Hybrid Mode Switch to Threaded Mode Similar Threads Thread Thread Starter Forum Replies Last Post Connect Outlook "Event" to Office Document Yick Office 1 09-23-2011 04:57 AM How can I delete the content of a cell in column if the cell value is more than 1000? If ten years ago it was still common to see an entire company using just one server, these days that's no longer the case. New computers are added to the network with the understanding that they will be taken care outlook 2003 of by the admins. Keeping an eye on these servers is a tedious, time-consuming process. Even with 5 minutes per server (to check the logs and other parameters), it may take an hour to make sure that everything is ok and no "red lights" are blinking on any of the servers. read more... outlook 2003 error Event ID: 1000 Source: Microsoft Office 11 Source: Microsoft Office 11 Maintenance: Recommended maintenance tasks for desktop applications Type: Error Description:Faulting application
