Advertisement PamJ50 Thread Starter Joined: Oct 17, 2011 Messages: 8 About a week ago I was sending an attachment to a friend in Outlook 2003 and it locked up. Ever since then whenever I try to send an attachment in Outlook it locks up and gives an error message. Outlook Express does fine. And the odd thing to me is when I go into my non-admin account I can send attachments in Outlook fine. The first time I try it in a particular day I get this: Error signature: szAppName: OUTLOOK.EXE szAppVer: 11.0.8326.0 szModName: hungapp szModVer: 0.0.0.0 offset: 000000000 Any subsequent times in the same day I get this: Error signature: AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 11.0.8326.0 AppStamp: 4c1c2372 ModName: libavcodec.dll ModVer: 0.0.0.0 ModStamp: 48a75d90 fDebug: 0 Offset: 001fd9e3 I've run Malwarebytes, Super Antispyware, and avast! (and I always have avast running); nothing shows up in these. I'm currently using Outlook Express for sending attachments. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! I added Franklin Covey Planner Software to Outlook just like I had it on my old computer with https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/21490787/outlook-2003-error-adding-exchange-server-to-profile-will-not-check-name-or-open-up-outlook.html basicly the exact same conf. Win XP Pro SP2, Outlook 2003 software. Around the same time I loaded the software I would get a hungapp error when trying to open up outlook. I'm connecting to an exchange server that I had working at one time on my computer. The exchange server is working because I can remote access web outlook on my computer. I email microsoft they had me create a new profile and see if the profile was bad. I did what they say trying to add a new profile. That created an error when trying to connect to server and check name. I get error: The program ["C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\System\MSMAPI\1033\MLCFG32.CPL ,@0] caused a problem and is going to close. Would you like to save a dump file? Then it closes and does not open up. I decided to uninstall franklin covey software, it did the same thing, I then Uninstalled Outlook 2003 and then restarted it and reinstalled Outlook 2003. After installing new software I tried to setup exchange server and it got the same error. I then updated softwar
