people don't use the PDFMOutlook plugin. To be honest, I didn't even know the PDFMaker toolbar existed in Outlook 2007 :) Because of this, I decided to remove the adobe PDFMOutlook toolbar completely. You can delete the PDFMOutlook toolbar in three ways: Uninstall Adobe Acrobat Delete PDFMOutlook.dll Unregister PDFMOutlook.dll Uninstall Adobe Acrobat To uninstall Adobe Acrobat, follow these steps: Close Outlook and Adobe Acrobat Click Start, click Run, type appwiz.cpl and click OK Select Adobe Acrobat and press Remove / Uninstall Delete PDFMOutlook.dll To delete PDFMOutlook.dll, follow these steps: Close Outlook and http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_outlook-mso_other/pdfmoutlook-add-in-error-message/be56f3ab-83ca-4817-9516-27ec6965b885 Adobe Acrobat Open Windows Explorer, and navigate to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\PDFMaker\Mail\Outlook" If you own another version than Adobe Acrobat 7, your path will differ in this version number Delete PDFMOutlook.dll if it exists Optional Click Start, click Search, click For Files and Folders, click All Files and Folders, type PDFMOutlook.dll and click Search Delete all PDFMOutlook.dll files that are found during the Search http://www.itexperience.net/2008/03/05/howto-disable-pdfmaker-toolbar-in-outlook-2007-pdfmoutlookdll/ Unregister PDFMOutlook.dll To unregister the PDFMOUtlook.dll, follow these steps: Click Start, click Run, copy and paste the following string to your text field: regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\PDFMaker\Mail\Outlook\PDFMOutlook.dll" A notification pops up that tells you that the file has been unregistered. All of a sudden, this morning, when I shut down my computer, Outlook complained about an error. I didn't capture that message. When I rebooted the computer and started Outlook, I got the attached error message about the pdfmoutlook add-in. I did a little checking and found several complaints about this add-in going back to 2009. None of them offered a outlook 2013 solution other than disabling the add-in. I did that, but now I have no way to save emails as PDF documents. Is there a solution to this problem or an alternative way to save emails as PDF docs? #2 01-30-2014, 11:53 PM Jennifer Murphy Windows XP Office 2007 Competent Performer Join Date: Aug 2011 Posts: 132 Using a virtual printer is a great idea. I did a pdfmoutlook add in search for "pdf creator" and came up with more than one program. Do you have a link to the one you are referring to by any chance? Thanks #3 01-31-2014, 07:14 AM Jennifer Murphy Windows XP Office 2007 Competent Performer Join Date: Aug 2011 Posts: 132 When you suggested "PDF Creator" in your first reply, were you referring to a particular program or was it a generic term referring that type of program in general? Do you use one of these programs? #4 01-31-2014, 01:26 PM msperry Windows 7 64bit Office 2010 64bit Competent Performer Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: Jacksonville, Florida, US Posts: 127 Hi Jennifer, I think you're looking for this list: http://www.msoutlook.info/question/643 « Previous Thread | Next Thread » Thread Tools Show Printable Version Display Modes Linear Mode Switch to Hybrid Mode Switch to Threaded Mode Similar Threads Thread Thread Starter Forum Replies Last Post Calendar responses causing Outlook to become unresponsive arosier Outlook 1 10-20-2013 04:23 AM Importing Styles causing odd formatting problems.
