Hi,welcome to just answer. It would be my pleasure to help you. The 6A80 error is a purge unit error. The purge unit is the cleaning assembly on the right where the printhead parks when it shuts down.If you can move the carriage out of the corner, use a flashlight and see if there are paper scraps or the like keeping the purge assembly from moving freely.Just press down on the printhead( you'll probely get ink on your fingers) and restart and it should work fineConsult this blog topic for other things to try.http://fix-your-printer.blogspot.com/2009/06/error-code-6a80-on-canon-printers.htmlDon't forget to hit the accept button so i can be compensated for my time/effortA bonus and a positive feedback will be highly appreciated.regards, ehab tutor Ask Your Own Printers Question Customer: replied4 years ago.
