printed something. I replaced the laser/scanner (I had to replace this exact laser/scanner for http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/60543 the Cyan 7 months ago) and ran the "Calibrate Now" from http://www.fixya.com/support/t1834015-error_code_51_2_c_hp_4600 the menu. I put everything back just enough to where I could print the demo page. The demo page printed but it seemed to have too much magenta so I ran the calibration again. The printer then gave me a 54.11 error (black density sensor) so printer error I power cycled the printer and then got a 54.12 error (cyan density sensor) I reseated everything on the DC Controller and to the color registration detection assembly, powered on and got no errors so I printed the demo page again and am getting printouts with a cyan tint. i am currently running the "calibrate now" as suggested printer error 5500 in a post here and will see if that works. if anyone has any ideas Thanks James Respond to this 0 If the light Cyan tint covers the entire page, then it's probably a bad cartridge. You can use the disable cartridge check option in the diagnostics menu and then try the cartridge in a different slot to prove it. by Stephen on Feb 28, 2009 at 6:41pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I have the same error code message - 51.2c and not sure which laser/sanner to replace or if I need to replace them all - how do I find out which one to replace by Anonymous on Mar 25, 2009 at 4:46pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 C is for Cyan. by Stephen on Mar 26, 2009 at 3:13am Add comment Please sign in to comment Please sign in to comment HP Color LaserJet 4600 Buy discount ink Buy this printer More HP questions © Copyright 2011-2016, FixYourOwnPrinter.com, Inc.
