I don't think that has anything to do with the error msg I am getting but here it is. Error: 0271: Real Time Clock Error - Check Date and Time settings.Press Esc to continue or F1 to enter setup. I am unable to get into BIOS or even the login screen for Windows 7.Any advice would be appreciated. 5 people also had this question I have this question too 1 Kudo Reply richk Community Moderator Posts: 4,492 Registered: 01-01-2010 Location: US Message 2 of 19 (58,829 Views) Re: Error: 0271: Real Time Clock Error - Check Date and Time settings

Assembling your own vehicles is a captivating idea, but its awful controls, physics, and interface make doing so a chore. A nice proof of concept, but hardly a worthwhile game. The Pros Great conceptForgiving time mechanicCute aesthetic The Cons Terrible interfaceWonky physicsCumbersome Controls Doc Clock:The Toasted Sandwich of TimeReview: With a name like Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time one would expect a lot of time-bending puzzles, but that would be a misnomer. Doc Clock is more Chitty Chitty Bang Bang than Back to the Future, with a focus on concocting your own ludicrous methods of transport. Unfortunately, poor controls, a messy interface, and slippery physics make this puzzle/platformer a failed science experiment. If I Could Turn Back Time... It s
CXX to the name of a modern (e.g., gnu 2.95 or later) C++ compiler, or to "false" if you don't have one, and re-run ./configure, make, and make install in the top directory. https://www.caida.org/tools/measurement/coralreef/doc/doc/coralreef-faq-8.html 8.2 I get compile errors in libsrc/CRL involving _crypt_struct, _off64_t, etc. How do I fix these? This is apparently due to a bug in perl 5.8.0, which is fixed in 5.8.2, but reintroduced in 5.8.3. CoralReef 3.7.4 http://simpy.readthedocs.io/en/latest/topical_guides/real-time-simulations.html contains a workaround for this. You may also be able to get around it by setting the environment variable CPPFLAGS="-D_GNU_SOURCE" when running configure in coral. 8.3 CoralReef won't compile with gcc 2.96. How do I fix this? real time gcc 2.96 is NOT an official release, and we do not support it. See http://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-2.96.html for more details. 8.4 How do I fix compile errors involving PAnonymizer? If you do not need the anonymizing features, you can disable them by using the --disable-cryptopan option to ./configure, which will avoid the compiler errors. In any case, please report the compiler error messages to coral-bugs@caida.org. 8.5 The Perl applications complain about undefined symbols. How do I fix real time clock this? A runtime error message like this: Can't load '/usr/local/Coral/lib/Coral.so' for module Coral: /usr/local/Coral/lib/Coral.so: Undefined symbol "__eprintf" at /usr/libdata/perl/5.00503/DynaLoader.pm line 169. may be caused by using a different version of the C compiler or C libraries to compile Coral.so or ASFunc.so than was used to compile Perl. If your perl is newer than your compiler, then simply rebuilding CoralReef should fix this problem. If not, edit perl.inc in the top directory to set the variable PERL_LD to the name of the C compiler that was used to compile Perl, and run make clean and make install in the top directory. If that compiler is no longer available, you may need to reinstall Perl or the C libraries. 8.6 Why do the cell timestamps jump backward in my POINT trace? Why do some applications report intervals with negative duration? Apparently there is a race condition in the card or driver between clock reset and beginning to capture data, causing a single backward jump a few hundred microseconds into a trace. In applications that report intervals, this problem can manifest itself as a negative duration in the first interval. This appears to affect both OC3 and OC12 point cards. In CoralReef release 3.5, libcoral and most CoralReef applications will by default discard cells read before the clock reset, avoiding the problem. In earlie
Topical Guides » Real-time simulations Edit on Bitbucket Real-time simulations¶ Sometimes, you might not want to perform a simulation as fast as possible but synchronous to the wall-clock time. This kind of simulation is also called real-time simulation. Real-time simulations may be necessary if you have hardware-in-the-loop, if there is human interaction with your simulation, or if you want to analyze the real-time behavior of an algorithm. To convert a simulation into a real-time simulation, you only need to replace SimPy's default Environment with a simpy.rt.RealtimeEnvironment. Apart from the initial_time argument, there are two additional parameters: factor and strict: RealtimeEnvironment(initial_time=0, factor=1.0, strict=True). The factor defines how much real time passes with each step of simulation time. By default, this is one second. If you set factor=0.1, a unit of simulation time will only take a tenth of a second; if you set factor=60, it will take a minute. Here is a simple example for converting a normal simulation to a real-time simulation with a duration of one tenth of a second per simulation time unit: >>> import time >>> import simpy >>> >>> def example(env): ... start = time.perf_counter() ... yield env.timeout(1) ... end = time.perf_counter() ... print('Duration of one simulation time unit: %.2fs' % (end - start)) >>> >>> env = simpy.Environment() >>> proc = env.process(example(env)) >>> env.run(until=proc) Duration of one simulation time unit: 0.00s >>> >>> import simpy.rt >>> env = simpy.rt.RealtimeEnvironment(factor=0.1) >>> proc = env.process(example(env)) >>> env.run(until=proc) Duration of one simulation time unit: 0.10s If the strict parameter is set to True (the default), the step() and run() methods will raise a RuntimeError if the computation within a simulation time step take more time than the real-time factor allows. In the following example, a process will perform a task that takes 0.02 seconds within a real-time environment with a time factor of 0.01 seconds: >>> import time >>> import simpy.rt >>> >>> def
