Don't know how to change that wrong path, but http://www.techbudha.com/2010/12/error-loading-native-jdbc-driver.html the easiest would be to put the jars in there. K. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 31. Re: Connection Error 203328 Jul 6, 2007 9:46 AM (in response to -K-) My current jdbc folder under sqldev root looks like this: C:\sqldeveloper.new\jdbc\lib And files within the lib are (both copied from my oracle client lib as suggested in an earlier post): ojdbc14.jar ojdbc14dms.jar I have the original jars in the folder as well, listed in the folder as 'copy https://community.oracle.com/thread/508732?start=30&tstart=0 of....jar' B Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 32. Re: Connection Error -K- Jul 6, 2007 10:25 AM (in response to 203328) Yes, I know, but can you confirm or correct: "jdbc.library = /C:/sqldeveloper.new/jdbc/ojdbc14.jar" without the "\lib" in there? Re: Connection Error 203328 Jul 6, 2007 10:37 AM (in response to -K-) Oops I misreported the path to the jdbc.library, I'll edit it on my other reply post, sorry. should have been: /C:/sqldeveloper.new/jdbc/lib/ojdbc14.jar Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 34. Re: Connection Error -K- Jul 6, 2007 11:11 AM (in response to 203328) In that case I'm out of ideas already :-( Well, if the path could have any influence according to John, you could try emptying it just to try if that affects the issue. If so, you can drill down to find out which entry was guilty. Else I hope John can help you out more... K. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 35. Re: Connection Error user583044 Jul 6, 2007 12:43 PM (in response to 577191) My jdbc library is the same. It seems pretty obvious that SQL Developer 1.2 does not work with Oracle 9.x client out of basic install. (Using TNS, that is) I'll continue on using SID and hostname.
