and restart automatically - Error1003 ByDongDongCa Oct 14, 2005 Hello Everyone. Please help, my laptop(windows XP with SP2) is crashing over and over on me after I installed PCAnywhere 10.5 yesterday; it got a blue screen and reboot automatically right away after first restart. And now if I logon in normal mode, it got a few error sceens with "Error operating system error 1003 Signture... send report ... don't send...", then it will get into a blue screen and reboot within 2 or 3 minutes. Try to uninstall PCAnywhere, no success, got blue screen; Got into Safe Mode, and try to uninstall PCAnywhere, no success, "windows installer service doesn't support in safe mode....". Check the event viewer: System Error EventID 1003 Error code 10000050, parameter1 e2472000, parameter2 00000001, parameter3 bf9d43cc, parameter4 00000001. and also System Error EventID 1003 Error code 00000019, parameter1 00000020, parameter2 e2738960, parameter3 e2739740, parameter4 0dbcaba4. Can anyone please help, I really have no clue what to do. I attached a few minidumps as well. Thank you. I don't have a clue why. Thanks Mar 12, 2008 #1 pimpmypc TS Rookie Posts: 111 http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/blue-screen-system-error-1003.100955/ if you can get windows booted up fully you can try running a disk error check, also scan for viruses too, 3rd try system restore, n last if none of those dont work i would try reinstallin windows. also u can try a command sfc /scannow i think its called it replaces missing system files but you need the actualy windows disc. hope this helps. The second one cites "bdfsdrv.sys" to be at fault, and I believe this belongs to BitDefender Anti-Virus. Test your RAM with Memtest86 (let it run for a minimum of 7 passes) and if there are no errors uninstall BitDefender. If there are errors, remove all but one module of RAM from your PC and run Memtest86 on them individually to isolate the corrupt module. Post back with your results .
