Oct 2008, 20:01 Newbie - I have installed 1.6.6 to a Windows XP Pro 2002 SP 2 system I have created a vdi which resides on a USB stick Guest is Windows XP PRo 2002 Installed 1.6.6 GA Guest boots fine. I have searched forums and cannot find similar symptoms using these host/guest combinations. Non-seamless, Shared folders icon shows: Hover over icon "\\vboxsvr\MyDocuments\...\My Documents" Machine Folder-> MyDocuments c:\..\My Documents Full Opened a command window on the Guest typed "net use x: \\vboxsvr\MyDocuments I receive an error " System error 67 has occured. The network name cannot be found" Network settings are: Adaptor 1 : PCnet-FAST III (NAT) I'm certain that this is PEBCAK Any ideas? rtwells Posts: 8Joined: 21. If it does, then your problem is that you are sharing a 'private' folder. There are/were some issues where users were not able to share their My Documents or Home folder, but they could share a subfolder from there, or the parent folder.
