If one of the calendar fields are too long it will cause lots of problems. It will also stop exchange sync. To fix it you will need to trim the text of all your calendar entries to less than a certain number of characters. I forget how many characters is the limit. You will have to Google it. First one after 10 days- had hardly anything in the calendar. Phoned retailer who told me the E63 had "known calendar issues" . Didn't stop them selling the phone. Second E63 calendar worked for about 2 months- still not a lot in it. It's Nokia- it sucks. I don't think it has anything to do with the length of fields or anything like that, because once the problem was resolved, I could then save the exact same appointment that kept failing before. I didn't sync with exchange though, so not sure if field lengths or the like had any effect on that. I used to have a quick work around for it, but can't remember what it was. I think it was to go into an already existing appointment or meeting, select edit and then re-save it straight away. After doing that the calendar worked fine again. I've gotten "General: System error!" when trying to play music. First time I only had about a 100 songs downloaded and it had been playing fine when I got the error. Nokia tech support had no solutions so I deleted all the music and downloaded it again. After refreshing it worked again. Continued downloading music again (Music Manager v2.0) and was up to 381 songs when it hit again (had been playing fine for several days). This time deleting the music did not solve the problem. After looking at several music player threads here I tried *#7370# to hard reset the phone. That worked. I was able to restore my contacts from the SIM card so I didn't lose anything, except some recent calendar items. Next time I'll try the hard reset first as it took about half a day to delete and re-download the music...Anyone know what's causing this problem?? Ken Forgot to mention and don't know if it's important. This is on an N95 8GB Last edited by kacooper; 11-19-2007 at 10:35 PM. I'm guessing that they may have some file-header abnormality or corruption. If I was really bothered about them, I'd run them through 'Super Converter' and 'convert' them from MP3 to MP3, to make sure that they were standard MP3's.
