This feature can be disable, to increase disk speed: •Click on Start, type cmd in the Search Bar> right click "Run as admininstrator". •Once the commnand prompt is opened type the command below: •fsutil behavior set disable8dot3 1 •Restart your PC (27 Jun '12, 12:19) Martin 1 @Martin: Just out of curiosity - do

The driver shows up in the ODBC administration dialog. However, when I try to define an ODBC source I obtain the error message (translated from German): The setup routines for the Oracle ODBC client in instantclient64_12_1 could not be loaded. System error code 126: The denoted module was not found. (C:\Program Files\Oracle\instantclient64_12_1\SQLORAS32.DLL). After comfirming the dialog box a second message appears with basically the same message. A first check yields that the DLL does reside in the path given in the error message. Also the examination of the registry shows that both DLL paths to SQLORAS32.DLL and SQLORA32.DLL have been set correctly. The installation manual requires the PATH variable to be set the same directory. This was also checked by me. Installed 32-bit PostgreSQL driver via msi package. When using 32-bit ODBC Administrator to create "System DSN", receive error as follows: "The setup routines for the PostgreSQL ANSI ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 126: The specified module could not be found. (C:\psqlODBC\0903\bin\psqlodbc30a.dll). I have verified the file does exist, by that name, in that location and the registry entries look good (I am not allowed to insert images until my account is "verified"). The ODBC Administrator lists the 32-bit driver (along with all the others) in the Drivers tab. I am successful creating a System DSN if I choose a different 32-bit driver (e.g. the IBM DB2 driver). Thank you for any direction you can provide. Saturday, April 05, 2014 11:38 PM Reply | Quote Answers 0 Sign in to vote Hey Justin. Thank you very much for the followup! I have been trying to insert images to actually "show" you the registry values AND Windows explorer showing the file exists(so you could double check me), but have had no luck - this interface claims I have not "verified my account", 'tho I believe I have done so several
