System error 58 has occurred. The specified server cannot perform the requested operation. Both machines are in same domain. Windows XP machine can view and access all other shares except Windows 7. This was definitely less traumatic than any other fix. Reconfigure the MicroKernel using the Setup utility,specifying a higher value for the Largest Compressed Record Size option.You might want to check with the vendor before you make changes like that.You'll also need to stop and start the services for the change to take effect.Best of luck...
