Thank you for your suggestion. I tried Microsoft Fix it but it did not find any problem. This is what I did: -run msFixit -press "yes" to UAC -press "accept" to MS license agreement -press "detect problems and apply the fixes for me(recommended)" -press "installing" -choose "not listed" because I can not find any lavasoft or adaware program. Then the program said it did not detect any problem and no fixes were applied. Any other suggestion? I might be able to give you installation log if you give me some pointer. Check these locations for logs:C:\ProgramData\Lavasoft\AntiMalwareC:\Users\"your username"\AppData\Roaming\Ad-Aware AntivirusC:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\DRVSetupC:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\ a log file starting with MSI (check date to know which one is the latest)Now when Lavasoft is beta testing Ad-Aware 11, they aren't interested in investigating installation issues in version 10.Have you had any other antivirus program installed (except for Defender)?
