1.3, there are some significant changes to Python. These changes primarily affect how you run standalone scripts with Python. The experience of Python within the ArcGIS Pro app is unchanged.Documentation can be found here http://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/arcpy/get-started/installing-python-for-arcgis-pro.htm, but additional information is included below.Just one install of PythonThere is no longer a secondary install of Python

needed to run standalone scripts with Pro. In ArcGIS Pro 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 a lightweight version of Python was used within the application, but to run standalone Python scripts you had to install a secondary “Python for ArcGIS Pro".At 1.3, ArcGIS Pro will install Python into the ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3. This Python is used within the ArcGIS Pro application and it is also the Python you use to run standalone scripts.ArcGIS Pro 1.3 uses condaOver the last few years, conda from Continuum analytics has gained significant traction in the Python community as a package and environment manager. At 1.3, ArcGIS Pro includes conda, and the Python that you use with arcpy and ArcGIS Pro is in a conda environment named “arcgispro-py3". With an install of ArcGIS Pro for “all users", arcgispro-py3 will be found at C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3 . With an “only for me" install of ArcGIS Pro, arcgispro-py3 will be found at C:\Users\

I'm taking a geodynamics course from Margarete Jadamec and I'm having an issue https://github.com/KeckCAVES/homebrew-keckcaves/issues/4 installing vrui-examples. I have a Macbook Pro running OS X El Capitan version 10.11.1. I want to use the ShowEarthModel and I followed the instructions found here. http://keckcaves.org/downloads I used homebrew and installed XQuartz. I restarted my machine and entered the script in XQuartz terminal. After tapping KeckCAVES, when trying to install vrui-examples 3 errors are generated. The script is as follows.... bash-3.2$ brew install vrui-examples ==> Installing vrui-examples from keckcaves/homebrew-keckcaves ==> Installing dependencies for keckcaves/keckcaves/vrui-examples: KeckCAVES/keckcaves/vrui ==> Installing keckcaves/keckcaves/vrui-examples dependency: KeckCAVES/keckcaves/vrui ==> Cloning https://github.com/KeckCAVES/Vrui.git Updating /Library/Caches/Homebrew/vrui--git ==> Checking out revision v3.1-002 ==> make INSTALLDIR=/usr/local/Cellar/vrui/3.1-002-1 DOCINSTALLDIR=/usr/local/Cellar/vrui/3.1-002-1/share/doc/vrui ETC Last 15 lines from /Users/joshuaflores/Library/Logs/Homebrew/vrui/01.make: /usr/bin/g++ -MD -c -o o/g++-3.g0.O3/GL/GLAutomaticShader.o -g0 -O3 -I/private/tmp/vrui20151106-30288-cbm2cx -I/opt/X11/include -I/private/tmp/vrui20151106-30288-cbm2cx GL/GLAutomaticShader.cpp /usr/bin/g++ -MD -c -o o/g++-3.g0.O3/GL/GLLineLightingShader.o -g0
makes logging and debugging from script easier by implementing levels of log output, selectable by per-caller identified sys_properties values. Logs can be at the level http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=GSLog of Debug, Info, Notice, Warning, Err, or Crit (after BSD syslog.h and followers). The default logging level would normally be Notice, so levels should be chosen accordingly. 1.1 Where To Use Use for any server-side script where you want to implement event logging. 2 Method Summary Method Summary Description initialize(traceProperty, caller) Method called by the Prototype JavaScript Framework during object creation. logDebug(msg) after effects Logs debug events. logInfo(msg) Logs information events. logNotice(msg) Logs notice events. logWarning(msg) Logs warning events. logErr(msg) Logs error events. logCrit(msg) Logs critical events. logAlert(msg) Logs critical events. logEmerg(msg) Logs emergency events. log(level, msg) Logs a message at the specified level. setLevel(level) Sets the log level. getLevel(level) Gets the log level. debugOn() Sets the log level to "debug". 3 Method Detail 3.1 initialize(traceProperty, after effects cc caller) Called by the Prototype JavaScript Framework during object creation to initialize a new instance of this class. Provide the input parameters, but do not call this method directly. 3.1.1 Input Fields Parameters: traceProperty - A system property that contains a value indicating the level at or above which messages will be written to the log. caller - The name of the script calling the logger. 3.1.2 Output Fields Returns: void 3.1.3 Example var gl = new GSLog("com.snc.sla.tasksla.log", "TaskSLA"); 3.2 logDebug(msg) Logs debug events. 3.2.1 Input Fields Parameters: msg - The message to write to the log. 3.2.2 Output Fields Returns: void 3.2.3 Example var gl = new GSLog("com.snc.sla.tasksla.log", "TaskSLA"); gl.logDebug("This is a debug message"); Output: *** Script [TaskSLA]: This is a debug message 3.3 logInfo(msg) Logs information events. 3.3.1 Input Fields Parameters: msg - The message to write to the log. 3.3.2 Output Fields Returns: void 3.3.3 Example var gl = new GSLog("com.snc.sla.tasksla.log", "TaskSLA"); gl.logInfo("This is an info message"); 3.4 logNotice(msg) Logs notice events. 3.4.1 Input Fields Parameters: msg - The message to write to the log. 3.4.2 Output Fields Returns: void 3.4.3 Exampl
