There may not have been any destination devices available during the window, or the job may have been submitted to run when the window was closed. OR Error: e000e020 - The duration that this job is allowed to remain scheduled has passed. It will be rescheduled. Verify that storage is available and check the job's schedule settings. Ensure that there is enough time for it to begin running before it is considered missed. UMI :- V-79-57344-57376 Cause A. This error occurs when a job attempts to run outside of its time window. Creating multiple jobs that queue up and then exceed the time window can create this problem. B. This error may also occur in case of Media Unavailability due to any reason. However there is most certaintly media and drives available. for 3 hours before the job fails. the job has until 4PM the following day to start, drives https://vox.veritas.com/t5/Backup-Exec/e000e020-backup-error/td-p/339326 and media becoome available around 12 PM. the job waits until 4PM to start and then fails. We did not make any changes to to the job. this only affects one backup job. What is the status of the job for the time leading up to the cancellation? Does it say "Loading Media", "Queued', "Scheduled - Device Not Ready"? That might help narrow it down. All was fine untill the Daylight Savings event which happened in March 09 Since then we have had missed backups at weekends. We have 2 scheduled tasks to run in Backup Exec The first is a daily backup which runs Monday > Thursday - These backups areok and show in the History as being complete the odd errors with people leaving there email logged in etc, but mainly ok The second is a Weekend backup which runs on a Saturaday when all the staff are out of the building. One of our sites has not had a weekend backup since the Time change. The backup is set to run between 18:00 > 07:00 and is set to cancell if not complete within 10 Hours. However t
