Backup Exec Alert: Job Cancellation
(Server: "servername") (Job: "Daily") The job was canceled because the response to a media request alert was Cancel, or because the alert was configured to automatically respond with Cancel, or because the Backup Exec Job Engine service was stopped.

Solution by CSocket 2008-09-18 14:04:10 UTC When a job does not start before the time window expires, it is automatically canceled. Solution by CSocket 2008-09-18 14:05:55 UTC This can also be logged when you manually cancel a job. Solution by Gechurch 2010-01-31 18:33:58 UTC Happened for me because my backups grew larger than the tapes. I had an auto-response for Alert for Library Media Insert to dismiss after 2 hours. So for me, tapes would fill up, and alert for a new tape would fire and two hours later the job was automatically cancelled. User Information Only an Email address is required for returning users.
