Since I am recently started working on BE,would some one please help me with below questions? 1.Is this because multiple jobs are configured with same Policy & job Template? 2.Can we use seperate job template for each job? 3.We have two different Media Sets, for Full & Differential which are shared with backup jobs. The schedule is set to recurring Days of the Month and the 2nd is selected.Thetime windowdoes not coincide with any other job. No other job was running at the time, manual or scheduled. The devices and media were available and online. The error is described asError : e000e020 - The job was scheduled to run, but the availability window closed before the job could start. There may not have been any destination devices available during the window, or the job may have been submitted to run when the window was closed. The job Summary Information is as follows:Original start time : Wednesday, April 02, 2008 7:00:00 PMJob started : Wednesday, April 02, 2008 6:00:01 PMJob History records the start time as above and the end time as 4/2/2008 6:00:01 PMI am confused. Solved error e000e020 since daylight savings time change Posted on 2010-11-15 Storage Software Windows Server 2003 Storage 1 Verified Solution 6 Comments 4,342 Views Last Modified: 2012-05-10 Hello, I found our backups did not run after daylight savings time with the following error in the logs: e000e020 - The job was scheduled to run, but the availability window closed before backup exec the job could start. There may not have been any destination devices available during the window, or the job may have been submitted to run when the window was closed. Even after I change the time window to be back an hour and set the start no later than time to allow 2 hours in the time window, I still get failures on the test run. The log on the test run failure is very vague: e0008703 - The test run has detected a backup exec error potential problem. See the job log for details. For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-34563 I have looked at the link but it doesn't give any information that I can use. Does anyone have any insight as to why this may still be failing even after the time window is changed? The time on the server is correct and the backup device is accessible and has the correct time. I have also cross posted this ad symantec, and found a couple of threads on this issue here however the link on how to use the no longer works and I am unfamiliar with bestop.bat. I appreciate any help with this issue and thanks very much, Maureen 0 Question by:maureen99 Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 3 Best Solution byeagle-22 I would not try repairing the database at this point.
