If the login for any of these services is ever changed after the initial installation of the software, backup exec services not stopping the following information can be helpful regarding what default settings the services need to be set for: The following services are installed: Services Installed On a media server(up till v12.5): Backup Exec Agent Browser (logs on as Backup Exec service account, Automatic startup) Process name: benetns.exe Backup Exec Device & Media service (logs on as Backup Exec service account, Automatic startup) Process name: pvlsvr.exe Backup Exec Job Engine (logs on as Backup Exec service account, Automatic startup) Process name: bengine.exe Backup Exec Server (logs on as Backup Exec service account, Automatic startup) Process name: beserver.exe Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers (logs on as Local System account, Automatic startup) Process name: beremote.exe LiveUpdate (logs on as Local System account, Manual startup) Process name: LuComServer_3_3.EXE (Number changes per version of LiveUpdate) With the installation of Backup Exec Desktop & Laptop option additional services are installed: DLO Administration services (Logs as Backup Exec Services account, Automatic startup) Process name: DLOAdminSvcu.exe DLO Maintenance services (Logs as Local System, Automatic startup) Process name: dlomaintsvcu.exe With the installation of Backup Exec 2010 and later the following additional services are installed: Backup Exec Error Recording service (Logon as Lo
