When I go to backup the data on one of my other servers from backup exec, it gives me error E0009B86. Stating it cannot connect to the remote agent because a trust relationship was not established between the remote agent and the media server. I have gone back through the remote agent installer but since it is already installed it doesn't make a backup exec difference. I just upgraded to backup exec R3 from R2. any help is greatly appreciated. Also making sure that your credentials work without using the agent, (such as a c$ share access or backup exec cannot remote to it just to make sure) 0 Habanero OP Paul Mek Oct 15, 2013 at 5:41 UTC You can also try removing the server then re-adding it to BE. 0 Datil OP Helpful Post Mike4003 Oct 15, 2013 at 5:52 UTC I agree with Paul, unless the selection list is complicated for that server, then you might want to work on it some more first. Can you uninstall the remote agent on that server and reboot, then try installing it again and see? 0 Anaheim OP Caan Oct 15, 2013 at 7:50 UTC Vapour1ze - I have tried that and I know that the credentials work for sure. Thank you though. Paul Mek and Mike4003 - Thanks for the reply, can I remove the remote agent from Exec R3 or do I need to remove it from the server itself? And if so would you happen to know where I go to remove it? I would like to start with the remote agent before removing the server. 0 Habanero OP Paul Mek Oct 15, 2013 at 8:00 UTC The trust relationship is established when you add the server to BE. If it were me, I would just remove the server from BE and go through the process of adding the server back. This should also update the agent on said server. 0 Datil OP Best Answer Mike4003 Oct 15, 2013 at 8:13 UTC Paul Mek wrote: The trust relationship is established when you add the serve
