and while I offered a rebuttal the comment stuck with me. Just curious to get some other thoughts on that topic. In addition while doing some searching I found this thread from symantec's forum where the final posts from technical support made some additional comments about the LTO tape drives verify vs what Backup Exec is doing.... http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/verify-not-needed-when-using-lto If would be nice to regain some of that backup window if verify wasn't needed....
