This might happen if the Quick Launch folder is missing in this location: %Appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch Resolution To resolve the problem, type this command from Start, Run dialog: IE4UINIT.EXE The above command creates the Quick Launch folder automatically, if it is missing in the above location. The issue is that none of the solutions fix it.I don't want to REGEDIT.I followed the Microsoft link that you so kindly offered. As I said in my initial post, the Quick Launch folder is present and accounted for.
