Gepubliceerd op 14 feb. 2014I am sharing a simple self-made video how to solve CPU fan error. In order to make this message disappear from a PC on startup you have to get into the bios settings of your computer. To get into the bios settings you have to press Del, F1 or F2 (varies according the different motherboard) while starting your computer as shown in this video. After getting into the bios search for fan control settings, I have to enter into the Power tab of the bios settings on this motherboard to get into the CPU Fan speed. On this motherboard CPU fan speed is N/A by default & I have to change it to Ignored to make the message of CPU fan error disappear on startup. In some motherboard the rpm of CPU fan warning is highlighted by default at 600 rpm & if you lower the rpm to 300 rpm the CPU fan error will disappear. But do remember to save the bios setting before exit by pressing F10 as shown in this video to remove the CPU fan error warning message. been getting an error when I start up my computer that says: CPU Fan Error! Press F1 to Resume (Heres an image of the error on start up) At first i looked down at my fan and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIDrJ0uZq2U saw that it continued to spin after this error, so I took no notice of the warning. That was 5 days ago... today i bent down to pick up something and saw that my fan wasn't even moving! I quickly removed the case cover worried that my cpu will overheat.. Can anyone explain why my fan stopped working? Did my reformat erase a driver or something thats needed for the fan? Hello all, I recently installed a new CPU fan. Instead of my stock 4 pin connector, my new CPU fan has only a 3 pin connector. cpu fan error I applied the thermal juice to the CPU and squashed down on it with a see through card. But whenever I switch my computer on, it sates "CPU fan error, press F1 to continue". I've looked at the fan and it is definitely spinning fast enough as I can feel the air coming out. I've searched on these forums with other people having similar problems, however haven't found any conclusions which suggest there is something wrong with my setup. My CPU is a pentium D, E5200, on semi-idle it runs at 58-60 degrees Celsius. Is this a high temp? I also have my CPU overclocked to 2.8 Ghz from 2.5 Ghz. Thank you! EDIT: Also when I play games like Bad Company, CPU temp goes up to around 80 degrees Celsius? Last edited by JonathanJ; 01-08-2011 at 09:09 AM.
