Common denominator being it appears to occur when the registry is hard coded with the incorrect location for the users default document locations, or the user is using a roaming profile or some other mechanism that causes the system to instead of a local drive, use a network drive for the users docs. I would THINK that this would not be an issue, but apparently even brand new programs from billion dollar companiesare unable to copy files to destination folders without specific privs in place, not just at the target level, but across the entire UNC. I have already tried several different fixes involving trying to fool the install program into installing onto the local system, telling the system to work in offline mode, and hard coding hard drive locations into the registry instead of the network locations.
