I was trying to modify my existing 11.2 version because a error 1324 windows 10 team-mate realized we had different DLL versions based on the same install. I can do anything. error 1324 the path my pictures or the volume is invalid I even tried installing the latest version of the tools but I get the same message. If I try to uninstall via the Windows control error 1234 the path my documents contains an invalid character panel I get the same message. I am in a corporate environment and my "My Documents" folder is mapped to a network drive. Any advice? I did not have read permissions to the folder just below "My Documents". I think the networking team here had made some sort of a change recently. Once these permissions were changed it started working correctly. Thanks for your help! Also can you attach the log file of the installer itself? This will allow us to see what the actual reason for such behavior may be. Thank you. In their case, it was the "My Pictures" folder that was mapped to a network drive and giving the same "Error 1324" that your log shows. They list a couple of workarounds for this kind of issue. 1) Map a drive to your "My Documents" folder and change the registry key to use that mapped drive. The key is at HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ User Shell Folders. Your "My Documents" folder should be listed in the "Personal" registry value. After that is done, the installer should be able to resolve the path. If you go this route, be sure to back up your registry so you can roll backas needed. 2) Fo

This also happens when I try to update Adobe Standard products that are on our workstations. This is an Active Directory based network, and users have their Documents error 1324 the folder redirected to a network server. Users have full rights over that folder, so using a network location should not be an issue. This is absolutely ridiculous that this should be a problem.I've seen several solutions, such as repointing the Documents folder to their C drive again and then back, but that is a ludicrous solution. I'm lucky that only a few of our workstations are Win 7 currently and that I have not been made aware of this issue on Windows XP Pro. I couldn't imagine having to touch 250 workstation to fix this problem.Re-redirecting the Documents folder it is NOT a solution it is a bandaid for something broken.Does anyone know of a fix or solution to this problem?
