I tried repeatly to restart, each boot ended with the same disk read error. When I pressed F8 to go into SafeMode, nothing happened. So I booted from my Win XP disk and preformed a Repair. I was then able to start Windows and continue to use the computer. I scanned my computer with the latest updates from McAfee and found No Virus. I shut-down XP and tryied to boot again and Win XP loaded with no problem. I thought I fixed the disk read error with the repair until the next day when I tried to start my computer again.
