Not the login option. He means the security token can expire if, for example, you begin replying to a thread but you don't submit the reply for days, during which time the same "reply page" is open. If not an addon and not idle time it may be your PHP configuration. I will quote a previous post of mine: http://xenforo.com/community/threads/upload-security-error-occurred.25166/#post-305452 Jake Bunce said: ↑ Does the error happen every time? Some guesses: 1) You were idle for too long before submitting the form. 2) You are running suhosin (hardened php). Suhosin can truncate form submissions if limits are exceeded. If the security token is truncated it will result in this error. 3) An addon or customization that is misbehaving.Click to expand... I am in the early stages of setting up a site using jAuction and jMarket. Whenever I try to save a new item I get the error:" A security error occurred. It might happen when you keep a window open for too long. Please reload your page" I have read the post by Vanessa here. I haven't touched the core files and it happens even if the page has only been open for a few seconds. My environment is: Virtual Private Server Centos 6.5 PHP 5.4.27 MySQL 5.5.37 Joomla! 3.3 (I just upgraded from 3.2 to see if that fixed the problem, but nope I'm afraid!) Any help - or a stern "You're Doing It Wrong" will be gratefully recieved. This is a powerful suite of products and I can't wait to get the development out of the way and purchasing the products from you! Thanks and best regards, Dan.
