Message in Win XP Gokhiel, Monday, October 20, 2008 Computer TroubleshootingThis Morning I almost got a nightmare, My Computer cannot logon to windows!! Yayy… Its beginning when I turned on the computer on Monday morning, suddenly my computer always restart every time come to Windows Logo (Black Screen). I remembered yesterday my computer did not turn off properly because there was electricity blackout. I tried to fix the problem using Safe mode but it dosen't work, and then I try last known good configuration but I have the same result.Hmm.. I think there was a problem with file kernel32.dll in windows system since the computer always restart. Ok I try booting the computer using Windows XP installation CD (boot from CD). After come to "Welcome to setup" Screen I hit "R" to begin Recovery Console. After select which windows installation usually the system ask for administrator password and come to following command line: C:\Windows> but in my computer doesn't ask for the password and only come to the command line C:\I try to C:\ dirAfter waiting for a few second there is and Error Message : " An Error Occurred During Directory Enumeration" Yayy!!.. its not kernel32 file problem in this case the system cannot read the files in the Windows or INF directory.To fix the problem I use this Command line C:\chkdsk /p /r.After waiting for several time Chkdsk Done!
