I recently opened Teamviewer, and ran into the following error..."An error occurred during the initialization of Teamviewer. Probably some security software blocks network communication on this computer. Please permit network communications on this computer to use Teamviewer."However, I have attempted submitting Teamviewer as an exception to Windows' built in firewall, or disabling it entirely, with no change. I've also tried shutting down any other security software fully, in order to eliminate all possibilities. I can't say whether this has only cropped up recently, as I haven't run TV in a while. From trawling around Google a bit, I found that TV5 may be a solution, but that didn't fix a thing. The most recent update also didn't.I tend to be a very safe computer user, so I kind of doubt that it's a virus. Especially after a number of very thorough scans. If any help could be offered, that'd be great .Oh, and this is copied from the logfiles. "Caught exception while creating InterProcessGUI. exception: socket_select_interrupter: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it, Errorcode=183"I've submitted a ticket to the company themselves (no response yet) and posted on a few TV forums, with no responses. So if anyone had any ideas... Logged UnDeFiNeD Veteran Jr. Member Posts: 75 Gender: Re: Teamview Problems « Reply #1 on: May 25, 2011, 12:45:57 AM » Installed a new router recently?
