Re: premiere 6 error writing file - disk full? the_wine_snob Sep 28, 2010 8:40 AM (in response to nsgi) Well, if you Exported from WMM as a DV AVI, that should be fine. It'll be DV-AVI Type I, where Pr prefers Type II's, but should not be an issue. The Disk Full error message, usually means what it says - the destination HDD is full. Exactly what is the destination Path that you are Exporting to?Good luck,Hunt Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. Re: premiere 6 error writing file - disk full? John T Smith Sep 28, 2010 9:09 AM (in response to nsgi) I don't have the particular notes file where I am (and it's so old I may not even have it at home) but for P6 that "disk full" message may mean the disk is full... and it may be a complete GUESS since "something happened" that P6 can't handle, so it throws up a message just to let you

(Disk Full?) I have a movie that is 2 minutes and 56 seconds long. I export it as a DV AVI (PAL) widescreen. I have 11gb free space on my C:\ drive. So i export it there, about half way through exporting it says 'An error occured while making disk is full the movie. Error writing file (disk full?)' I can't seem to export it in any way. This hasn't happened with any of my other projects. The movie cant be and bigger than 11gb when its only 2 minutes long. Is there something i'm doing wrong here? I have tried exporting all of my drives. C:\ (NTFS) D:\ (NTFS) and F:\ (FAT32) but still at about half way through it stops and has the same error message. I have tried other projects and they work fine. It just seems to be this one. What shall i do? I can export up to 1311 frames. But after that, on 1312 it has the error message.
