Join Now I've got a list of https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/508288-unable-to-create-dhcp-reservation MAC addresses that I need to set reservations for in our DHCP servers. All went well except with two specific MAC addresses. When I try to create the reservation for either of these devices I get the following error: "An error occurred while accessing the DHCP database. Look at the DHCP server event log for more information on this error." However, no logs are generated anywhere in Event Viewer when this error message is displayed. error occurred I have found that if I input a different IP address than what I want them to be, the reservation goes through without an issue. That suggests that the IP address is already leased. After finding this out, I then did a dump of the DHCP config using netsh and I cannot find where the two IP addresses I want to use are already leased out. Any ideas on where I might look next?
