We're running TrendMicro for AntiVirus on the server, I added the 'C:\windows\system32\dhcp' and 'C:\windows\system32\dhcp\backup\new' folders to the exclusion list. There is also plenty of space on the hard drive (183GB). None of the local clients appear to have issues renewing dhcp event 1016 and releasing IP addresses. Our one remote user occasional has trouble getting an IP address when connecting through VPN (RAS) on the server. Any ideas?
