EdS New MemberJoined:Dec 14, 2009Messages:12Likes Received:0 I am running Win 7 Pro on a ACPI x64-based PC. I have been unable to install a number of applications - most recently Evernote. I get an error while running the installation programs: "An error occurred while attempting to create the directory: CrogramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu" Any help would be much appreciated. #1 EdS, Mar 6, 2013 Last edited: Mar 6, 2013 MikeHawthorne Essential Member Microsoft Community ContributorJoined:May 25, 2009Messages:5,972Likes Received:285 Hi You can try installing the applications in safe mode and see if that works. They may be conflicting with something else you have running. What is the error that you are getting? It looks like you image file is too large.
