An Error Occurred While Creating Omod File
order for my experience in oblivion to be the best possible now that I decided to play it again. I an error occurred while creating the media file found Qarl package of textures and meshes and I read that it's good an error occurred while creating the media file . exception thrown by method called thing to use the omod format instead of just dropping the content into the data folder of the game (like acronis error occurred while creating the file I was used to do in morrowind... I admit I didn't play with mods when I bought oblivion back in the days). My problem is: it seems obmm can't handle the dimension of Qarl's oblivion mod manager "mod" (I use the redimized version from dev_akm). Any help/suggestion on how make an omod out of the files in the zip archive? Many thanks for the help. I'd recommend using the installer in Wrye Bash instead - it also makes installing/uninstalling easy but you don't have to convert it first. Of course, it means that you need Wrye Bash and read up a bit on how its installer (BAIN) works. Otherwise, my guess is that OBMM can handle it - it will just take a very long time for it to finish. I've never tried to make an OMOD from the morroblivion install, but I think Morroblivion is waay too big for OBMM to be able to create an OMOD from it. You might try making OMODS from smaller pieces of the Install ..You've most likely reached the limits of the OBMM program. PMHello, I've decided that I am familiar enough with the game mechanics to start tinkering with mods. The very first mod I tried to install is one to replace that gigantic default UI with a much nicer http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-2090213.html one. I found Darnified UI and placed the .omod file in the oblivion\obmm\mods folder. Then I https://m.reddit.com/r/oblivion/comments/4jmcw0/getting_cannot_find_readme_error_when_attempting/?ref=readnext went and got the Oblivion Mod Manager (v1.1.12) and ran it. Darnified UI showed up with a green box, so I activated it. I got two errors: csc.exe - Bad Image C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\csco mp.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the error occurred software vendor for support. Error An error occured while activating the mod. It may not have been activated completely. Error: Could not find file '%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Temp\dotnetscript.dll '. So I went and got OBSE and installed it as per the sticky thread's instructions (with the alternate launcher) just to make sure that I didn't need that too, but it didn't seem to effect anything. I googled around but didn't find anything specific to my problem. Can someone point out what I am error occurred while doing wrong? Reinstalling OBMM didn't help. Is Darnified UI not supported in some way? I'm sure this is my fault somehow for missing a step or just generally being a moron. edit: The first error now doesn't always show up. odd. waggywags08-30-2011, 09:37 PMJust checking, but do you have .NET Framework 2.0? I believe that's a requirement for the Darnified UI. If you're not sure, try installing it anyway. I don't know your version of Windows (Assuming you're even on Windows), and therefore I cannot link you. There's a version for Service Pack 1, Service Pack 2, 64 bits, etc. Do post back if it helps or otherwise. CaptainTrips0008-30-2011, 11:24 PMI'm running Windows 7 Pro 32bit SP1. I went and manually downloaded and ran the installer for .NET 2.0 and tried to activate Darnified UI from OBMM with identical results. Just checking, but do you have .NET Framework 2.0? Uninstall both, and then re-install them. Draetor2408-31-2011, 10:06 AMSounds like a Windows issu
