I'm having a bit of trouble with getting it to run properly. If I try to back up with the default local SYSTEM account, it fails. Looking at an old SQL 2008 that was error occurred set up before Itook on this job, NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM has Public and SysAdmin rights over the instance. However in SQL2012 this is not the case. From reading around I believe that older versions of SQL gave SYSTEM sysadmin by default, and this changed in SQL2012. If I give SYSTEM the full sysadmin rights, then CommVault backs up just fine. however, iuf I remove error occurred while them again, I get the error: rror Code: [30:325]Description: Error encountered during backup. Error: [Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Common.ExecutionFailureException:The server principal "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" is not able to access the database "CVTest" under the current security context. BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally. An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch.]Source:
