In SQL 2000 it was possible for the row and page counts for a table or index to be incorrect, even negative. CheckDB did not pick this up. On SQL 2005, the counts should be correctly kept and CheckDB gives a warning when it finds this scenario This is not a serious problem and it's trivial to fix. As the message says, run DBCC UPDATEUSAGE on the database in question and the warnings will disappear. This is common on database

Error message is: One or more errors occurred.” up vote 0 down vote favorite I am testing out SQL 2016 Live Query Stats in SSMS and every time I try it I get the error "An error occurred while executing batch. Error message is: One or more errors occurred." and no result set is returned. A co worker has tried it and it works fine for him error occurred while anyone else had this problem? UPDATED To answer the questions raised. This is the entire error that is returned to the message tab. To reproduce all you need to do is select Live Query Stats in SSMS 2016 and run any query and I receive this error. ssms sql-server-2016 share|improve this question edited Jun 16 at 14:00 asked Jun 15 at 13:33 Tim Brown 637 That is not the total error, can you update question with total errors and repro steps –TheGameiswar Jun 16 at 8:06 also version of ssms –TheGameiswar Jun 16 at 8:06 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote To reproduce the error. Install the AdventureWorks2016 sample database. I actually used the AdventureWorks2016CTP3 copy. Enable the Live Execution via SSMS 2016. Run the following query SELECT oh.AccountNumber ,oh.Comment ,oh.DueDate ,oh.OrderDate ,oh.Freight ,oh.TotalDue ,od.[SalesOrderID] ,od.[SalesOrderDetailID] ,od.[CarrierTrackingNumber] FROM [AdventureWorks2016].[Sales].[SalesOrderHeader] as oh inner join [AdventureWorks2016].[Sales].[SalesOrderDetail] as od on od.SalesOrderID = oh.SalesOrderID I receive the following error in the results pane. I will keep digging to find out why this is happening. (121317 row(s) affected) (6 row(s) affected) An error occurred while executing batch. Error message is: One or more errors occurred. SQL Server

The service wasn't started, so I tried to start it, but it just starts then stops. It gives me this error in the log: "An error occurred while executing the command definition." Now I have no idea what that means or how to solve it. I attached the entire service log in case that's helpful. What now? Logged soaked Jr. Member Posts: 23 Re: An error occurred while executing the command definition « Reply #1 on: December 01, 2011, 05:06:01 PM » Restart the SQL Server(SQLEXPRESS) service and try again. That didn't work. Just to be sure, I just restarted SQL Express and then tried starting the admin console. Still the same error. Logged soaked Jr. Member Posts: 23 Re: An error occurred while executing the command definition « Reply #3 on: December 01, 2011, 06:08:18 PM » OK, let's check if connections and queries to the database are even possible. Please follow the instructions below:1. Open Command Prompt with elevated privileges.2. Type the following command there - sqlcmd -S (local)\SQLEXPRESS3. If connection has been made, you will see "1>" into the console.4. If the server accepted connection, type the following SQL query:Code: [Select]USE avast_sbc_db
GO
SELECT top(1) Version FROM VpsVersions WHERE Version != '0-0'
GO
5. Paste the output of the query here.Regards,Dmitriy Logged Bret Miller Jr. Member Posts: 52 Re: An error occurred while executing the command definition « Reply #4 on: December 01, 2011, 06:18:07 PM » Version--------------------110824-1(1 rows affected) Logged Bret Miller Jr. Member Posts: 52 Re: An error occu
