Graboid worked in both systems. I have now got rid of windows, upgraded to 10.10 I installed wine, winetricks & dotnet20, but when I click on my downloaded Graboid.exe file I get the following error: Command line output Archive: /home/etsah57/.wine/GraboidVideoSetup-2.03b-Complete.exe [/home/etsah57/.wine/GraboidVideoSetup-2.03b-Complete.exe] End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on the last disk(s) of this archive. zipinfo: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /home/etsah57/.wine/GraboidVideoSetup-2.03b-Complete.exe or /home/etsah57/.wine/GraboidVideoSetup-2.03b-Complete.exe.zip, and cannot find /home/etsah57/.wine/GraboidVideoSetup-2.03b-Complete.exe.ZIP, period I am at a loss as to what to do. It would be much much easier, and is the https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1707818 recommended way to do it. If you are sure you don't want to use the repo, then try the following: Can you open a terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and cut and paste the following command (it may take a while to complete); this will tell us the type of file find ./ -mount -name tor-browser-gnu-linux-i686-1.1.4-dev-en-US.tar.gz -exec file {} \; find ./ -mount https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tar/+question/147260 -name tor-browser-gnu-linux-i686-1.1.4-dev-en-US.tar.gz -exec md5sum {} \; mycae (mycae) said on 2011-02-28: #2 note each of those commands is on one line -- just cut and paste the whole chunk. joshua (seabluedreaming) said on 2011-02-28: #3 I copied and pasted the commands as whole chunk into the terminal window, pressed enter, but nothing happened. mycae (mycae) said on 2011-02-28: #4 Did you save the file to your hard drive, or did you just "open" it? If you just opened it, try saving the file. I suspect that you are attempting to open a file that is not a proper archive joshua (seabluedreaming) said on 2011-03-01: #5 I downloaded it today again and was able to install it. Thank you.
