This error can occur if the Windows "user" environment variable "TMP" has been changed from the default value. The changed value somehow seems to cause "access denied", but this specific reason for the error is not presented to you. A trace of the error occurring revealed this

I use Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and MS Outlook.com web based email-all software updates are current. I tried printing an automated confirmation email from Microsoft specifically using Adobe PDF as my printer. I received the following error message: "An error occurred while printing." There was no error ID number. The product was two blank pages except for the emails date of origin along the Header of page 1.Does anyone know what causes this error, its' blank product and how to prevent re-occurrence?Thank you! Jeff Hager 2 Answers Edit Answer (for another -9 minute) In my experience, most printing problems with Acrobat and Reader are fixed by the newest available driver (which should to be newer than the release date of Acobat), so upgrade your printer driver and see if that fixes your problem.
