The job will not continue." Error Message V-79-57344-33860 - An error occurred while scanning the catalogs. The job will not continue. Cause This issue could be due to a number of problems: Corrupt catalog files in the Catalogs folder, Catalogs/tapes overwritten, Catalogs truncated, or a Bad tape. If the tape is confirmed stable, although the catalog IMG on the tape may also be corrupt, you can recatalog the data on tape which will create a new catalog on disk. Solution 1. Open the Backup Exec console and navigate to Tools>Backup Exec services>Stop all services. 2. Rename the "C:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\Catalogs folder to Catalogs_old". 3. Restart the Backup Exec services (This will create a new Catalogs folder). 4.

(0x80004003) Windows Server > WSUS Question 0 Sign in to vote Has anyone seen this error: An error occurred while scanning for security updates. (0x80004003)? This error occurs when I run the MBSA tool either locally or remote against a workstation. I also thought that the firewall may be the issue, it is not. I ran the MBSA tool on the WSUS replica and WSUS upstream server and received the same results.I have been running the MBSA tool and have not run into this probembefore.I am running SolarWinds PatchManager on the upstream WSUS server and have recently configuredthe upstream and downstream servers tocommunicate, I imported the certifcate from the WSUS upstream to the replica and noticed that after this we started having issues with the MBSA scans. Not sure if this is related but it is the only change between MBSA working and not working. P.S. The scan does work when we use the offline scenario instead of pointing to the WSUS server. Any help would be appreciated.
