I tried multiple times and i also re installed the os with no change at all. If i try to set the root user after i get error 2002 as you can see below.. I tried to google the problem but i didn't find anything like this, could you please help me? I have to deleted MySQL by using apt-get purge mysql-server mysql-common. Then I have used apt-get install mysql-server to install it again. The installation goes at the beginning fine, but then I recieve an error. Once I have entered the MySQL password on this error occurred while blue terminal window, I recieve an error. It is also a blue dialogue. I just bought a new VPS with Debian 7.4 (wheezy) installed on it. The first thing I do it try to install my basic components, such as Mysql-Client and Mysql-Server, but I am not able to get the server to complete the install.
