I https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/1d12e06f-1722-48f7-89e4-d91bb0f6541e/errors-occurred-while-windows-was-synchronizing-your-data?forum=w7itprovirt pretend that the VPC is like a stand-alone box with some network drives. Monday, January 11, 2010 9:15 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote If there is a sync happening between files on the vm's local drives, and the shared host drive (\\tsclient\e in your case), the vm should be kept running. This is because, host drives are shared in the vm via integration features which is basically TS, and when you are shutting down/hibernating the vm, TS disconnects, and hence host drive sharing with the vm is stopped. Any apps inside the vm which was using the shared drive now finds that the shared drive is inaccessible. Thanks, Rashmi U.R Tuesday, January 12, 2010 8:57 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote I am not aware of any syncs. This VPC is primarily used forMS-Office products,Outlook, word, excel, powerpoint, project, &visio. The only writing I do are file saves and file copies. The only other thing running is a virus scanner, but I can't imagine it does any writes. How can I determinewhich process or programis doing sync'ing?
