An Error Occurred While Importing This File Powerpoint 2007

I can even make a very simple spreadsheet that should work and works on everyone elses computer but will not work an error occurred while importing this file word 2013 on this one. Any suggestions? This usually is the answer, yes but in this case the database was corrupted and I had to perform a repair. If this helps anyone else out, I hope I was helpful. You can resolve the error in the following ways: · Open the spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel and remove the leading space from the field name. · Link the spreadsheet in Microsoft Access instead of importing it. An error occurred trying to import file [blah]. The file was not imported. I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I imported this exact file yesterday without a problem. I was importing it again to overwrite the first one because I wanted to change some of the Long Integer fields to Text. I thought that might be causing the problem, so I tried to just import the file again from scratch, not changing anything (leaving the Long Integer fields as they are), but I still get this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Have you also tried importing into a new table? Does the error message give any error numbers at all? Andrew Share Share this post
