You've probably set those pages to be available offline in IE6 (or even an earlier version), right? Do you have SP2 installed yet? Do you have "active desktop" enabled? Are you connected to a network with other computers? zabusant, May 28, 2008 #2 parman Thread Starter Joined: Mar 8, 2007 Messages: error occurred while 540 I don't recall setting any pages in the past to be available offline. What do you mean by active desktop enabled? I do have SP2 installed. This is a home computer. I am not connected to any network. parman, May 29, 2008 #3 zabusant Joined: Sep 6, 2007 Messages: 2,584 Interesting. Well, if you don't know what active desktop means, you probably don't have it set. But do you know the web sites listed? Please check which version of IE you have installed (Help>About Internet Explorer). Do you have an anti-virus/anti-spyware program installed? Open "my computer", click on tools>syncronize. Are there any items listed? zabusant, May 29, 2008 #4 parman Thread Starter Joined: Mar 8, 2007 Messages: 540 I have Internet Explorer 6 version. My anti-virus programs are avg 7.5 and spysweeper. I also have windows defender. I seen that in tools>syncronize I had some offline pages checked.I went to the properties page of one of the checked boxes and it showed that there was an error downloading the url.I unchecked the box: make this available offline. parman, May 30, 2008 #5 parman Thread Starter Joined: Mar 8, 2007 Messages: 540 Thanks Zabusan I Now Don't Have Them Annoying Errors. Solved Message "warnings occurred while windows was synchronizing your data" when logging off PC Posted on 2009-07-10 Windows XP 1 Verified Solution 6 Comments 859 Views Last Modified: 2012-05-07 A new PC was setup for a user in my absence. When logging off the PC a message pops up saying "warnings occurred while windows was synchronizing your data". It then lists a number of files that failed offline synchronization. Once closed, the PC logs off as normal. I want to stop synchronizing offline folders. I have checked win explorer/tools/options/offline files and there is an option to disable offline synchronization. However all our other PC's have this option enabled but do not receive a message about synchronizing the data when logging off. So there must be another setting. 0 Question by:NCGPIICT Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google Best Solution byNCGPIICT as suspected the person who setup the PC had redirected the my documents folder to the network and therefore caused a sync issue. i have amended this back to its original local path Go to Solution 6 Comments LVL 17 Overall: Level 17 Windows XP 1 Message Expert Comment by:selvol2009-07-10 1.
