I switched phones and gave my old phone to daughter's boyfriend. He opened an account with the same provider, I know this phone is not jailbroken, nor is it a provider issue. When I stopped using this phone I wiped an error occurred it to factory, and nothing has been done to it since. I do know the wifi is not working on this phone, but it was activated in the past without wifi and worked fine (just expensive). I put in his SIM (SIM has been tested in a working phone and works fine) but once connected to Itunes to complete activation the error in Itunes reads "The Iphone could not be activated because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000004).
