Then I closed the file and opened the Flash project file and try to open it from there, but it had a lock next to it. So I clicked "Check out", and then couldn't open it. So I clicked "Check In" and it connected to the Site and asked if i wanted to replace the local copy with the remore copy, i said yes and it still gave the same error message. What happened? I opened Dreamweaver and saw that the site definition does not have Check In/Out activated. I even restored a backup from three days earlier from my web server and I still get the read error. What's going on here? I use this FLA file for a friends web site, I need it.

Are you trying to open them from your Media Library or from File Open, double click on the file, etc?
