Occurred" every time I try to save... (Paul_A_Clark) Sep 24, 2008 11:25 AM I'm working on a postcard design for print purposes with several embedded images and text elements. I've saved successfully several times early on, but suddenly, https://communities.sas.com/t5/Base-SAS-Programming/Error-An-I-O-error-has-occurred-on-file/td-p/41152 every time I attempt to save, I get the message "A File I/O Error Has Occurred". I need to get this to the printer, but can't make important changes now. HELP! Thanks, paul 49440Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 9 replies 1. Re: Please Help!! (Paul_A_Clark) Sep 24, 2008 11:39 AM (in response to (Paul_A_Clark)) Crazy! Wasn't saving to a server, but to a 2-gig jump drive. When I saved it to my mac's hard drive, no problem. Is there a short answer to why that happens? I didn't appear to be out of space on the external drive... Thanks Scott! paul Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 3. Re: Please Help!! NotInUse Sep 24, 2008 12:49 PM (in response to (Paul_A_Clark)) I can't say specifically, the File I/O error clearly indicates that Illustrator can't write to wherever you are asking it to write to. Could be a server without proper permissions, a jump drive formatted as NTFS, a Diskette that's full or locked, etc. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 5. Re: Please Help!! Win7 64bit v3.0.6 Gelmir commented Dec 27, 2012 This messages is one of standard messages defined by Windows itself. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms681388%28v=vs.85%29.aspx ERROR_CANT_WAIT it is. This was discussed on old bugtracker with no resolution: https://bugs.launchpad.net/qbittorrent/+bug/825092 I cannot reproduce that anyhow. Gelmir commented Jan 6, 2013 Ok. I've bumped into the bug. Looks like it usually triggers on big torrents 20+ GiB with average file size ~ 1GiB. Seeding, as it seems, is not affected, only downloading. The message log mentions only one specific file regardless of whether it is checked or not. As a side effect you can lose download paths for all torrents. I've tried libtorrent 0.16.[4,5,6] - all the same. Trying libtorrent aio branch, had to do some patching. E
