An Error Occurred Status 0 Reddit
Posts: n/a "Error Occurred(0)" with RAID 0. What does it mean? During boot up, one of my two week old error occurred 1 iphone 4 hard disks in my RAID 0 is now reporting this error: "Error Occurred(0)" I googled for this error message and found only one other person that reported this error and his screen snapshot is nearly identical https://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/error-occurred-0-help-236344/ to my problem. http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1132761 None of the responses that I read in that thread were helpful to me. Using Western Digital diagnostic tools, I tested each drive and no errors in either drive were discovered. Chkdsk also reported no errors. From the time I first observed this error message some days ago, the computer has been working without any apparent problems (boots up and runs just fine) but the error message is http://www.wirelessforums.org/alt-comp-hardware/error-occurred-0-raid-0-what-does-mean-14336.html driving me nuts. I have two of these disks: Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD3200KS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA RAID 0 with Intel Matrix Storage Manager Motherboard: ASUS P5B-E (latest BIOS installed). XP Professional. All service packs and updates installed. Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz 4M shared L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can resolve this error message? #2 (permalink) 01-07-2007, 03:11 PM HDRDTD Guest Posts: n/a Re: "Error Occurred(0)" with RAID 0. What does it mean? It 'might' be that one of the drives has developed a SMART error. Years ago when the WD 36gig Raptors first came out, I had two iof them running in a RAID 0 array. My symtoms were slightly differenrt than your, mine would randomly lock up. Usually re-booting the system got it going again but I could never find the problem. One of the thing I did notice, was that none of the programs I tried could read the SMART status of eith

I restarted the system and error occurred entered the RAID configuration menu. One of the drives was indicated as having a SMART Event(0).After some searching online, I thought it would probably be best to replace the drive which was indicated as having the SMART event. After replacing the drive and restarting the system, I initiated the rebuild process from the RAID setup menu.Long story short... there have been several additional Blue Screen error occurred 0 shutdowns. (None with the iastor message.)Looking at the RAID configuration menu, the drive which was part of the original RAID1 setup is indicated as "Error Occurred(0)" in the setup menu, with the RAID status as "Degraded".I'm interested in knowing if this is common. Do I now need to replace the second original drive? (The new drive was a Seagate that was similar to the one removed. It was the same type of drive (SATA), and the size was the same (931.5GB); but it was a different height (thinner). I asked at BestBuy when I purchased it and was told that as long as it is SATA and the same size I should be good.Any thoughts?ThanksJeff 13572Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Re: Raid1 "Error Occurred(0)" on Good Drive After Replacing SMART Event Drive Jeff11 Jun 10, 2013 5:33 PM (in response to Jeff11) Hi,Any thoughts on why the Intel RAID setup utility would show a drive good previously (when a SMART message was displayed for the 2nd drive in the RAID1 array), and then show the same drvie as "Error
