16GB of ram, 512 GB sad) Retina and it is very nice. But when I installed both adobe lightroom for mac LR4 (my licensed version) and the trial of LR5 and tried to run them I got the error message "An error occurred when attempting to change modules". This https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/error-changing-modules-lightroom.html happens in both LR4 and LR5 when I start them and, if I dismiss the error and attempt to work, it occurs every time I attempt to change modules. I assume this has something to do with my MBP setup but, being new to the Mac, I have no idea what. Can anyone help? Thanks. I think to resolve this you will need to trash your current LR5 app in Applications. Then Download and install the latest release (5.3) from Adobe https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_lightroom The new install should recognize your existing registration. If it does not then you just need to register using your existing LR5 S/N. If for some reason the problem persists after a clean install, come back here and we will delve a little deeper into removing other LR settings files. -- Cletus D.
